1969 Mustang Mach 1 427 SOHC

This stunning Mach 1 was purchased by our customer in Scottsdale in 2008. It has had extensive shock tower/inner fender modifications (very similar to a Boss 429) to allow for the super rare 427 SOHC Cammer installation. As with the majority of the auction muscle cars tha come to us from sea level, driveability problems are common. This car was over-carburated and requires final tuning. We will be tuning the car on the chassis dyno with our neighbors at MPG Head Service and certainly switching to a smaller Holley to adjust to our mile high altitude.

Update: During our initial diagnosis of an engine miss, a compression test was performed. One cylinder was low. After a discussion with the customer, the decision was made to remove the engine for inspection. After a careful rebuild, the engine Dynoed 605HP, very close to where it was when new. Our customer has this monster back in his garage.
