Why Restore a Classic Car?

Quality collectable cars have not dropped in value like many other investments. A car is a liquid asset like gold, if you need to turn one into cash it can easily be done. The stock market is down 40 percent, but my personal collector cars are still worth about what they were last year. Restoring a car is fun and very rewarding. You may have owned a certain car when you were younger but never had the money to make it exactly what you wanted. You may have a concept for a car in mind and would like to see it become a reality but you don’t have the tools, equipment or time to do it. We can help. Many design problems have to be worked out, difficult parts located, performance goals achieved, colors and finishes chosen. Great satisfaction is gained in the process of solving these problems and helping us bring your concept to reality.

Cars are fun! You can: show them, race them, go out for a cruse night, meet other car crazy people and have fun talking about cars.

Some cars are truly part of history. They should be restored (preserved) for future generations to enjoy and learn from them. It is like being a patron of the arts, without such generous minded people much of our culture would be lost. Yes it may cost more that the car is currently worth to fully restore one, but can you put a price on the spark of joy you ignite in a young person, or receiving a trophy at a tough concourse? There are many reasons for taking that next step and following your passion, none are right or wrong. Just enjoy the ride.

It is my opinion that some collector cars are worth investing. Track the value of an original Shelby Cobra, you will find that is a graph that is still going steeply up. That car has out performed the stock marker, gold and most real estate. True investment grade cars can be acquired and restored if necessary.
