We strive to be a one-stop shop. We handle all phases of the restoration process for our customers. Drop off your car and when you pick it up it will be completed and ready to drive home. Most of our customers drive their cars so we focus on making the cars run perfectly in the heat of summer or cold of winter. Cars are meant to be driven. We produce powerful engines placed in a good handling chassis with perfect body and paint. We give you the real deal, and we finish it fast. We strive to complete all projects in a timely manner.
Almost anything with wheels that someone loves. Cars, trucks, motorcycles, foreign and domestic. Most of the vehicles we work on are older cars that are not serviced at a new car dealership. We provide detail services so you may see brand new cars in the shop from time to time. We occasionally paint a newer car when a customer wants a level of perfection not offered at insurance shops. Call us to discuss your project.
We inspect collectable cars for our customers. We are in the process of applying for a retail automobile sales license. When the process is final and the license granted we will announce our expanded services on this web site. Stay tuned.
Classic Restoration by Country Club started in 1991 by Jack Farland his wife Trina and his sister Wendy Farland in Denver, Colorado as a high end detail shop called Country Club Auto Detail. Our original location was near the Denver Country Club, hence the name. We worked on upscale cars for private parties and dealers. We moved to Englewood, Colorado in 1992 into a larger shop. The detail shop provided show car preparation continuously and helped many customers win at local shows and as far away as Pebble Beach.
Making cars win at shows forces you to pay attention to every last detail and it is that eye for perfection that carried us successfully into the full restoration business.
We built our current 15,000 square foot facility in 2005-2006 and changed our name to Classic Restoration by Country Club. We still offer detail services and have many loyal customers that will not bring their cars anywhere else.
Our staff is made up of total professionals that were at the top of the organizations they came from. They take great pride in their work and enjoy what they do.
Jack's family was in the car business. His father Fo Farland and uncle Temple Buell Jr. owned a Chrysler dealership in Denver, Colorado ; Farland-Buell Chrysler Plymouth. Jack started working at the dealership after school and on weekends at age of 12. In addition to Chrysler, Fo and Temple were dealers for Ferrari from 1967-1969 and they collected antique cars. Jack was exposed to rare cars from Europe as well as the muscle cars we all love today. What could be a better education than working on an old Chrysler one day and a Ferrari or Maserati the next.
That tradition is carried on today. Take a tour of the shop and you will find quite a mix of unusual cars from all over the world. Jack enjoys the challenge of learning about each car and figuring out how to make it better than new.
Jack's uncle Temple Buell Jr. was a noted race team owner and driver in the mid fifties. His drivers included Carrol Shelby, Masten Gregory, Phil Hill, Juan Fango and others. He campaigned Ferrari and Maserati sports and open wheel cars. Jack got to meet many of these drivers as a young man while hanging around with his uncle. "I got to sit in the pits and watch Carrol Shelby manage his team of Shelby Mustangs to a 1-2-3 finish at the Continental Divide Raceway. After the race Shelby came to dinner at our house and still remembers my mother's lasagna. That type of excitement gets in your blood and never leaves. I love to create excitement for my customers and get great satisfaction seeing them enjoy their cars."
Trina started working on finance while employed with Union Pacific Railroad in the early 1980’s. She then managed apartment complexes in central Denver for a Texas real estate company. Trina helped her husband Jack start this business in 1991 and has been running the finance department ever since.
Doug's love of automobiles started long before his Dad purchased a Shelby GT-350 Fastback when he was 13. A true muscle car enthusiast at heart, Doug has owned several great muscle cars including a 66 Shelby GT-350 #6S096, '70 Boss 302, '64 Galaxie 390 Tri-Power Convertible, Viper GTS Coupe and a Superformance Cobra 427 powered to name a few. After 20 years working as a dealership Service Manager, Doug decided to make a career change. A previous customer of Classic Restoration for 10 years, Doug is now our General Manager. He runs a clean, organized shop and provides excellent communication to our customers. He is very talented in locating hard to find parts and can really help you define your project needs and wants."
